This is the best way to learn Zills. The trick is first getting it down then doing it coherently while dancing! Like most things in belly dancing t’s a lot harder than it looks… at first.

R- is Right hand and L for Left (obviously). They even have the left handed options for you here. If you want to practice in the house without giving everyone and yourself a headache you can put some baby socks on them and still get the benefit of practicing the rhythm. They should be rather tight on your fingers (thumb and middle finger) and don’t worry if the tips turn a little blue better that then them falling off or swinging to the wrong side of your finger! 😉
