Had a fabulous show today for a ‘Sweet 16’ birthday party. The set up was absolutely gorgeous, they brought in sand, palm trees, outside tent with cushions and candles and light everywhere, then it decided to pour rain like crazy!… You know the ‘river running down the streets’ kind of crazy. Still, undaunted, we waited till it calmed down to a sprinkle and did our planned grand entrance. We started down the road where 4 shirtless body builders carried the birthday girl in a gondola while I led the way with fire dancing. All her family and friends were there to cheer for her.
There were two little girls about 6 years old who stuck by me the whole time and called everyone in to show them my “real live sword!” After my show, they told me they were starting a dance group and asked me if I wanted to be in it with them. I was very flattered but told them it would be a bit tough to work out our practices but I wished them all the best. Too cute. 🙂
Since the theme was pink and purple and they asked if I could dress accordingly, this was the final ensemble. Loved trying out our new ‘wings’ which worked perfectly and I loved the whole combination. It’s always fun to discover new ways to wear your costumes. Yay!
